Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress, best known for her portrayal of Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy drama series 'The Magicians' (2015-present). Her previous role as a Lebanese American teenager Jasira Maoun (13 years old) and who is living a tumultuous life in the aftermath of when the U.S. entered Iraq in the Gulf War, in Alan Ball's film "Towelhead", gained her the respect of. She was subsequently selected as one of the '10 Actors to Watch' in 2007. In the 2009 film Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. She was also nominated for an award in the Independent Spirit Award category for "Best Female Lead".
