Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach as well as trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first woman to be crowned the winner of in the CrossFit Games twice. She placed second in the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media celebrity. The first female to win the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. In addition, she is famous for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie together with her both her parents and siblings were born at Reykjavik Iceland. In her early years she was an avid enthusiast of fitness and sports. She participated in many school activities and won a number of medals. She participated for the first time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games in California and did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. She's 5'7 and weighs around 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California 2009. She performed well in initial races and placed in the top 10 out of 70. The team was unable to claim any titles and finished 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. The following year, she was a participant in another CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the games as the very first woman to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie, who had an outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to be crowned the winner of both CrossFit Games. Additionally, in 2014 Annie was awarded a Silver Medal, and, most recently in 2021 she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's rise in fame as an athlete has led her to become the model for a variety of brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is called "Annie" which has over a thousand followers. This is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
