Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, had an unhappy childhood. Her mother left her when she was just two years old to avoid an abusive relationship. Pickler returned to the mother she had left in 1995 after she took over custody. However, it wasn't as planned. Pickler was then 12 years old and was returned to her parents through the court. They took care of her until she reached adulthood. Pickler had to be busy with her young children in absence of parents. The mother of three confessed to her that in the absence of her parents, Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not attend school.
