Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for the past 40 years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. The same year, she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre a drama that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda the main character of the movie. During this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned a name for herself as a successful director in several well-known television series including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28th 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
