Zoe-perry
Perry has the father of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances on television in the role of Jackie Harris, a character who was played by her mom in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne. Perry was forbidden to perform in front of her family until she reached old age, due to the anxiety it could cause. Perry was shy during high school and did not act. She started acting in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends when she transferred to the university from Boston University. When she graduated, Perry was able to move to New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent however, her homesickness led her back to California in search of theater work. In 2013, she was a part of The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. In 2015, Perry appeared with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a role in 9 episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, she had a recurring role on the ABC film Scandal featuring her father. In the same year, she portrayed a child character based on Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a youthful version. The character was assigned by audition even though she was a cousin to the character.
